Finally Supreme court of India has given there decision on NEET Examination and combined entrance examination for medical courses. Students were waiting this SC decision since long time. SC quashed the Combined Entrance Examination medical Colleges in there judgment of 18 July 2013.
Court said that NEET Examination which was made for the admission in medical program is illegal. According to news of some new paper, court said there are now right to MCI (medical Council of India) for conducting such type India level examination. According MCI Rule , MCI have only right to set the guideline for medical entrance examination . Due to this Decision those students who are preparing for Next year examination very confused and they are suspected about upcoming medical entrance examination. however court had given relaxation for this year NEET Examination and not canceled the NEET results 2013.
Few Students disappointed due to this decision and mostly welcomed this decision. According to my assumption, every board have there own pattern and till the last year they conducted State medical Entrance Exam / State PMT on the basis State board pattern and Syllabus. You will find a lot differences in State Board syllabus and NCERT syllabus . However Syllabus of NEET examination is totally based on the CBSE / NCERT Syllabus. That’s why State Board students faced problem in NEET examination. Cutoff for All Indian level too high those candidates who scored less then 95 percentile in neet examination was not call for all India level counselling. So this decision too good for State board students because they can easily qualify the state PMT and examination and able to take admission in medical entrance examination. really you can measure the talent of various board students on single measurement scale.
